Featured Session: The Franke Family Documentary Session

Life with littles is just plain hard sometimes.

My prayer for this film as it goes out to this family in the thick of it, is that they can watch it in quiet moments and appreciate the beauty that’s being buried in all that busy business of keeping babies alive and fed.

Senior Pictures at the Potawatomi Conservatory Greenhouse

After shooting her bestie’s senior pictures, this gorgeous girl called me to set up her own senior portraits, and the location of choice was the Potawatomi Conservatory in River Park. This South Bend gem is a really great place to shoot senior photos, especially in the winter. In the summer, it gets HOT, but if you can handle that, it’s beautiful. The greenhouse is perfect lighting, beautiful and they have a bathroom so outfit changes are easy.

South Bend Adams Class of 2023 | Sarah's Senior Portrait Session at Cobus Creek

Another beautiful senior! These sessions are such a joy to shoot. Sarah loved the meadow look of her friend’s senior pictures, so she called me to schedule her own portrait session over at Cobus Creek. It’s such a great place to take photos. If you like what you see, you should consider it for your session. It’s always changing with different wildflowers in bloom every time I go. It keeps things interesting!

South Bend Adams Class of 2023 | Addy's Senior Pictures

We had a blast during this Cobus Creek County Park session. We took her older sister’s photos here, and mom said “I love how it looks like so many different locations but you really aren’t walking that much.” This is one of the busiest parks for photos that I go to, and that’s exactly why. Sometimes there is a line for must-have locations, especially in the fall. It’s almost crazy. But, those crushed cement paths, the beautiful meadows, the wildflowers that always seem to be changing, the creek.. it’s a stunner for a reason.

Speaking of stunning, just look at this gorgeous girl.
