Grandma and Grandpa's House | Plymouth Family Film
The Stulls invited me back to their farmhouse in Plymouth for a heartwarming film session with their grandchildren. Capturing their favorite activities this year was such a joy. It was fun to see how some things have changed, while others have stayed the same over the course of just one year. If you missed their film from last year, be sure to check it out here.
Iโve said it before, and Iโll say it again: if these were my grandparents, Iโd never want to leave their house. Theyโve truly created a little kiddie-wonderland. Inside, outside, wherever you go, thereโs something new to discover and explore.
This year, I watched the children play Legos, collect rocks, bake, paint, and enjoy the swing-set and playhouse. They also had plenty of fun riding 4-wheelers around the property. In the evenings, youโll find them catching lightning bugs and making sโmores around the fire.
One of my favorite moments? Little Ethan carrying around a stack of crackers for almost the entire two hours. Can you spot them in the video? And of course, Grandmaโs busy handsโtying aprons, kneading dough, placing rings, holding toddlers, and sprinkling flourโwere such a sweet part of this day. As Grandma began reminiscing about her own mother, Grandma Fox, I noticed little foxes all around the house. Itโs amazing how observation can bring such a deeper connection to these family films.
I hope you enjoy watching this special family film as much as I loved capturing these moments. Iโd love to work with your family next year to preserve your precious memories.
