The Filming Life Academy has been such an incredible community to learn with and grow alongside. Family films are truly my heart’s passion, so finding a group of creatives who share the same goals, struggles, and hopes has felt like such a gift.

One of the things I love most is the culture they’ve built—so positive, so uplifting, and so genuinely supportive. Every single member is encouraged to show up as they are, and it’s a group where egos and drama simply don’t exist. That kind of atmosphere always starts at the top, and the leadership sets the tone beautifully.

So when Kylie reached out and asked me a few questions for their blog, I had to pinch myself. What an honor to be featured and to share a bit about my journey with filmmaking in a community I admire so much.
