Meadows Edge Minis Recap | Mishawaka, Indiana
The Perfect Night for Minis
It was the perfect night for photos at Meadows Edge in Mishawaka, Indiana — not too hot, not too cold, just that ideal kind of light that makes everything look like it’s straight out of a movie.
The meadow was in full fall glory, glowing gold and rust, and every family that joined brought their own sparkle to it. These sessions were fast, fun, and filled with genuine smiles — exactly how minis are meant to be.
Fall Family Session With the Sweetest Family + Their Pup | South Bend, Indiana
This girl is an absolute treasure.
It was such an honor photographing their first ever family photos — no pressure, right? But honestly, it couldn’t have been easier. Beautiful connections, beautiful people, and a very cute dog to top it all off.
The result? A gallery that feels as warm and real as the people in it.
Family Mini Sessions | Mishawaka, Indiana
Meet Murphy, my favorite dog in the entire world.
Confession: I’ve never been much of a dog person… but Murphy might have changed that. He’s pure joy.
And this family? Equally wonderful. Two of the funniest people I know, surrounded by all the cutest faces. Every time I photograph them, we laugh a lot — and it shows in their photos.
These sessions are the perfect reminder that minis really are a no-brainer. We can create a full, personality-packed gallery in a super short time. <3
Fifteen Minutes, Three Adorable Kids, and a Ton of Photos | Mishawaka, Indiana
How many amazing photos can we get in just 15 minutes?
Short answer: a ton.
After all these years behind the camera, I can pull together a big, beautiful gallery in no time — especially when I have three of the cutest little kids you’ve ever seen.
Also, one of them might just be my pick for LDP Baby of the Year. I mean, come on. Too cute for words.
Big Kids, Big Personalities, and So Much Heart | Mishawaka, Indiana
So many new families took a chance on me this fall — and I’m endlessly grateful. I don’t know where you’re all finding me, but I’m so glad you are.
This crew had a few big kids in front of the camera, and it reminded me how much easier it gets as your little ones grow. Hang in there, mamas of toddlers — the days of bribery and chaos do calm down eventually!
Once you get past those middle school growing pains, kids start to like each other again (shocking, I know) and will even smile and — gasp! — put their arms around each other.
It gets better. Promise.
Golden-Hour Minis With a Sweet Family + Their Big Fur Baby | Mishawaka, Indiana
Another new LDP family joined me at Meadow’s Edge on one of the prettiest evenings of the season — and they even brought their big fur baby along!
This warm, golden fall weather has been spoiling us lately. My summer-loving heart has been soaking it all in, and I’ve been so thankful for every sun-drenched night like this one.
Meadows, Memories, and Mini Magic
Every mini session season leaves me grateful — but this one especially so
The families (new and familiar), the laughter, the light, the dogs (looking at you, Murphy) — it all came together for one perfect fall evening.
Thank you to everyone who joined me for these Meadows Edge Minis. I can’t wait to see you again next season… maybe under spring blooms next time? 🌸
