2020 wasn’t an easy year for engaged couples. To cancel? To reschedule? To trim the guest list? To elope? The choices were overwhelming. But despite the challenges, Kathryn and Dathan were determined to make their wedding day happen. There were compromises, changes, and a shift in the wedding date just a month before, but on June 20th, their vision came to life. You wouldn’t have guessed that this wasn’t the “original” date, though. The flowers, cake, photographer, videographer, minister, reception—everything looked picture-perfect.
This wedding videography job was truly a dream. Kathryn and Dathan are an absolutely stunning couple, the Culver Academy Memorial Chapel is breathtaking, and the weather was perfect. This location holds a special place in Kathryn’s heart, as she spent many of her summers working at the camp there. I can easily see why she cherishes this place so much.
Kathryn and Dathan started as friends. Actually, Kathryn and Dathan’s mom were the first ones to form a friendship. It was wonderful to hear the story of how their relationship blossomed, and how God’s hand guided their journey together. And now, they’re husband and wife! I couldn’t be happier for them and wish them a lifetime of love and joy.
