An Extended Family Session | The Laidigs, Mishawaka Photographer

When all the kids are in the same city and thereโ€™s a new baby, you pray the stars to align and get a family picture. Then you pray a little harder when the forecast is storms all afternoon and evening. Well, we got all the pics and left without a single drop raining down. (Thank you, Jesus!) This session was with friends that are fam. Iโ€™m sure you recognize almost all of these people if youโ€™ve been around LDP for any time. I got a little teary eyed looking at the big group shot. What a blessing. (Cry face, cry face.)

I love these people, guys.

Did you know I make a slide show your session? You can see theirs here. She loved the song. So did I. <3 The blog posts I write highlight my favorite pictures, but the slideshow has almost all the pictures from the session. This gives you a good idea of what an extended family shoot would look like for you. I take more posed, traditional shoots when I have this many people, since I donโ€™t have time to break down 5 family units like I do during a 1-family session, but there was plenty of time for candid hunting pictures.

When this many little kids are together, it can get a little crazy. Hurdling your baby brother for example!

How funny is that? Enjoy my favorites from this session.
