Featured | FilmingLife Academy Art House Film

I could talk about FilmingLife Academy all day. Their Art House project series has pushed me creatively in the best way, and every other month I get the chance to try something new, just for the joy of it.

This time, something extra special happened—I was featured in the Art House project! I’m still a little bit in disbelief.

The “Transitions” Project

For the Transitions theme, I decided to go all in. We had a family trip to Puerto Rico on the calendar, and I knew it would be the perfect backdrop to play with:

  • In-camera transitions

  • A GoPro I rented for the very first time

  • And lots of water, movement, and everyday magic

My boys even grabbed the GoPro and filmed many of the water clips themselves, which makes the final film feel even more personal. It became a true family project, layered with sunshine, waves, and all the in-between moments of vacation life.

I had the most fun putting this piece together, and being chosen as a featured film for the Art House project was such an honor.

You can watch my film and see the rest of the beautiful entries from the FilmingLife Academy community here.
