University of Notre Dame Graduation Photos | New Ideas

I have to start being choosy about which photos I share from Notre Dame graduation sessions because at this point, I have literal thousands 😂 And let’s be honest — as FUN and iconic as these photos are, once you’ve seen one cap toss in front of the Dome… you’ve kinda seen them all.

So the purpose of this post is to share some fresh inspiration! New posing ideas, fun little moments, and creative shots my associates and I have been dreaming up lately — both for us and for you.

Personalize It

Add a football jersey (Go Irish!), pull a couch out of your car at lightning speed and plop your friend group in front of the dorm where you met, or bring your baby blanket (and maybe tissues for me because I absolutely cannot handle that level of sentimentality 😂).

In short: make it about YOU — not just about recreating what everyone else is doing.

Embrace or Suggest a New Angle

Embrace (or Suggest) A New Angle

Getting creative with angles of the Golden Dome, Basilica, Stadium, and Touchdown Jesus isn’t just a good idea — it’s basically required when you consider how many people are getting graduation photos taken at the exact same time as you.

So if you have a favorite view, a hidden gem, or a different location you love, speak up! I’d genuinely love to try it.

Keep checking back for more great ideas from fellow grads! Congrats and Go Irish!
