From filming my family to meeting families all over Indiana

I’ve got 3 boys and I’m here for the chaos. When they were little, I picked up a camera in an attempt to capture the stages that fly by too quickly, the ones you always wish you could revisit.

You think you’ll never forget their favorite book, the silly way they pronounced a word, or their tiny cry, but somehow it disappears into thin air and you’re left searching phone videos and Instagram highlights to find it. 

 Life changes, kids grow up, parents grow old, and now’s the time. I’m thankful every day that I took the picture, hired the photographer, printed the photos, and made the films. Really, I’m here for you and I’m ready to be your camera crew. Read on & let’s get started.

My dad was always the one with the camera - taking videos and photos of everything. When I got my first camera, I learned to love the process. Taking the pictures, dropping the film off, waiting for the development, and picking them up at the store - it was so exciting. Opening the envelope to slowly look through the images was a thrill. Passing them around and chatting about favorites felt like such a tangible, shared experience. I miss that! Even though the process has evolved, I still feel the same thrill and I love seeing other people get that same feeling.

Eventually, as a parent, I got my first DSLR camera. I was so ready to learn how to take control of it and learn the art of taking a photograph, and eventually video. Taking family photos and videos for others, especially of the everyday moments, is not just a fun job, but an important one.
