I give the families I work with a complete memory to revisit. One where everyonE - including mom and dad - is in front of the camera. After all, you will be what your kids want to remember in 30 years.
Most photographers will admit the one they are aiming to please is mom. That’s where I’m different. Don’t get me wrong; I want to make sure mom is happy and she loves the images and films of her adorable children. But the real client I’m trying to please is that adorable child, 30 years into her future. I want to show her how cherished she was and how much her parents loved each other. I want to remind her what her parents’ voices sounded like when they whispered “I love you, Olivia.”
Why is your child my real client? For me, it’s personal. I lost my dad in 2017. That loss has shown me how invaluable the family pictures and home videos of our everyday moments truly are - having a photo with their face? Hearing a video clip of their voice? Listening to their laugh again? Watching their loving, gentle interactions with me? Those memories, my friends, are priceless treasures.
It’s why I do this. And what I want to give you and your family.
