Throughout the session, I capture the photos and filmed scenes of the whole family smiling. But more importantly, and how the LD Experience is different, I also mine that scene for the real gems–the moments.

How can we work together?
What is the difference between the Full LD Experience and a portrait session?
The Full Experience is a Film + Photo session shot in a more documentary & candid style. It will feel much more natural than a portrait session. We spend about 2-3 hours together in your family’s favorite place. You will receive a film and photo gallery documenting your family’s current stage. These sessions are best for families who want to allow time for genuine interactions to unfold with unposed, emotive images.
A portrait session is a classic family photo session to capture both posed images of smiling faces and candid shots. Typically scheduled for one hour at a location away from home. A portrait session is perfect for families looking to remember a season in their family and update annual family photos. Usually, films are not delivered with these sessions. These sessions are fun and full of laughter, just more posed and traditional in nature. I love photographing both types of sessions!Can I book photo & film together?
Yes! I love when families book photo and film together. I will ask for your priority for the session and capture both. The Full LD Experience includes both in all package options.
Where will our session be held?
For film sessions, people often choose their home or somewhere else they are most comfortable. Portrait sessions can also happen at home but are more frequently scheduled at parks and other public places. Travel outside of the South Bend area is also possible with travel fees applied outside a 30-mile radius.
How long does it take to receive the final deliverables?
I know it took a lot to get your family ready for your session, so I work hard to get your deliverables back quickly! Typically, portrait sessions are delivered within 2 weeks, and films within 3 weeks.
Do you offer help planning the session?
Yes! We’ll have a consultation call to walk through the plan for the session and I’ll send you an extensive outfit guide to help you prepare your family, too.
