The Slabaugh - Glanders Wedding | Elkhart, IN

COVID stinks. It is changing everything, including so many couples’ wedding plans. This sweet couple had lots of last minute changes to make, including their date, location.. just about everything. But, in the end, they got the intimate, relaxed wedding that she really wanted. Boo to COVID, but I am loving these small, meaningful gatherings. It seems like there is much less emphasis on all the WEDDING stuff, and so much more on the marriage, the family, the love. I will wear my mask and photograph one of these again and again.

This wedding took place at the Groom’s parents’ home. It was so nice, with a creek in the backyard. Home envy for real. They had a big white tent, and it’s a good thing, because it was raining right up til the big moment. We kept ducking under the tent between photos, but somehow we got them all taken care of in time to enjoy the wedding. (Thank you, Jesus.)

Enjoy this sweet happy couple. Taking pictures of people at their most joyful is so much fun. Well wishes to the new Mr. and Mrs. Glanders!
