I couldn’t even wait a whole day after this session to let Mom know how much I loved being with her family in their beautiful home in Elkhart. There was just so much love. I could feel it. I have always prayed that people would feel a comfort, love and a peace in my home.. that even if they didn’t recognize it was Jesus they were feeling, that He would be there (and all the fruit of the spirit that comes along with it).
Sweet little Violet made her arrival about 3 weeks before our photo session. Just enough time for Mom to feel a little more herself. Enough time for big brother to have adjusted, at least a little bit. We set up shop on the couch, but Miss V needed to nurse. I fully expect to have to do a little waiting during newborn sessions, so if that is ever a concern when booking pictures, don’t let it be! After she had a full belly, we got to take some additional photographs in her stunning nursery. It’s beautiful! This family’s got some serious style.
This is one of my favorite in-home newborn sessions to date! I am so thankful for every single one of you that continues to invite me into the most precious moments of life.
