During those overwhelming first few weeks, the temptation to resist scheduling newborn photos is huge. Exhaustion from the 24/7 feedings, labor and delivery, and parenting your other children is all consuming. Thinking about packing up, heading to the studio and keeping everyone well behaved and happy adds more stress. It sounds impossible.
Home newborn photography sessions are a great way to get the newborn stage documented while retaining some of your sanity. It’s what I chose for my own family. This Goshen family didn’t even bother getting their kids in their picture outfits until I walked in the master bedroom. Mom didn’t want to give them the chance to mess them up. How convenient! While I was adjusting my camera settings to their beautiful bedroom light, the kiddies were getting dressed.
