Three Different Looks for Senior Pictures near South Bend, Indiana
Once upon a time, I thought about “giving up” senior sessions because I felt like it was somehow compromising my “real” work as a family photographer. That seems silly to me now, since my own kids are nearing high school graduation at lightning speed. Why wouldn’t a family photographer capture the bookend of childhood? Celebrating with you as your kids turn into young adults is an honor.
Today I am sharing three different looks for the students in your life to consider for their senior portrait session with me. All of them are close to South Bend, so you have a lot of great options!
Benton Harbor Tiscornia Beach Park
Senior sessions at Tiscornia and New Buffalo are my favorite. Anytime I get to see Lake Michigan when I’m working is a very, very good day in my book. This was a really fun beach session, but when we got up there it was so windy! That’s the only downside. Sometimes the wind looks great all the way to the parking lot, and then everything changes. I was a little bit worried about it, but this girl rocked her senior pictures anyway. We leaned hard into the wind to make it work. She just worked the wind like she was a runway model or Beyonce or something! Pretty girl. Congrats to this Penn High School Grad!
Notre Dame Campus for High School Senior Photos
You really can’t go wrong when you decide to take pictures at Notre Dame. There are lots of textures to use, from the lake, to the old ND brick, to the log cabin and all the beautiful landscaping. Its a great place to take family or Senior pictures, as this handsome guy proves. Another Penn High School senior!
Downtown Elkhart, Indiana Senior Pictures
I wanted to highlight a little more of this Senior session, because I’ve never shot here! Downtown Elkhart had so many awesome pockets to shoot at, especially for a a senior wanting an urban look for their senior pictures. Her outfit was perfect for the city session, too! What a beauty!
