Featured Session: The Franke Family Documentary Session

Life with littles is just plain hard sometimes.

My prayer for this film as it goes out to this family in the thick of it, is that they can watch it in quiet moments and appreciate the beauty that’s being buried in all that busy business of keeping babies alive and fed.

Four Generations | Elkhart, IN Extended Family Session

Four generations of Wilkerson women gathering at Great Grandma’s house. Great Grandma meeting her first great grandchild, baby Celine, for the first time. One flying in from Texas. Two flying in from Virginia. Sarah, the granddaughter contacting me for this session, said that her mom really wanted a picture of all of them together during their visit. She suggested JC Penny. Sarah knew there was a way better option out there if she’d give her a chance to look. She mentioned how her grandma’s house in Indiana had the best memories associated with it. She mentioned how well her grandma is doing at her age. She was really hoping someone could just come to the house and take casual pictures of them all “just hanging out”.

I feel like Chandler Bing.. Could I BE any better suited for this type of session?

The research can add up to be quite a bit of work, especially when looking for separate newborn photographers, family photographers, senior photographers and extended family photographers. Ugh…
